Mrs. Donna Mikesell

Mrs. Donna Mikesell

Position: Full Day Pre-Kindergarten

Mrs. Mikesell has been at Trinity since 1982. She is a graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and received her colloquy from Concordia University Chicago. Mrs Mikesell grew up in Lombard IL. and moved to Bloomington at the age of 16. She and her husband Tim have 3 children Alex, Cole and Kassandra. A daughter in law Heather who she is privileged to work with at Trinity and one granddaughter Kaelyn. Mrs. Mikesell loves to see the little ones grow and learn more about Christ.

Favorite Bible Verse:
Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me."

Mrs. Becky Griffin

Becky Griffin

Position: Kindergarten

Mrs. Griffin is a graduate of Trinity Lutheran School as has worked at Trinity since August of 1995.  She has lived in Bloomington all her life and graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1986 with a degree in Elementary Education.  She and husband Tony have been blessed with 3 daughters, Hannah, Linnea and Clare.

Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Mrs. Lana Blair

Mrs. Lana Blair

Position:  Preschool Teacher

Mrs. Blair graduated from Illinois State University in 1985 with a degree in Elementary Education.  She has been part of the Trinity staff for 19 years.  She and her husband, Bryan, have three grown children, two granddaughters and one grandson.

Favorite Bible Verse:  
Proverbs 3:5&6  
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct your paths.

Mrs. Laura Busse


Mrs. Laura Busse

Position: Early Childhood Director, ½ Day Kindergarten, Extended Care Director

Mrs. Busse has been at Trinity since August 1995. She was raised in Waverly, IA, and graduated from Concordia University Nebraska (twice!) with a BS in Education in 1984 and a Masters in Early Childhood Education and Administration in 2006. She and her husband, Kurt, have the joy of serving together at Trinity and they have two grown children and a grandchild.

Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Mrs. Gayle Dietsch

Gayle Dietsch

Position: Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Dietsch was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She was blessed to attend Our Redeemer Lutheran School in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and Milwaukee Lutheran High School in Wisconsin.  Mrs. Dietsch graduated from Concordia University Nebraska in December 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and an Early Childhood Endorsement.   She was called to Trinity in August 2004 to teach Kindergarten.  Mrs. Dietsch and husband Dave have three children.  She enjoys being involved at church, reading, supporting her favorite Wisconsin sports teams, playing sports, and hanging out with family and friends.

Mrs. Heather Grieshaber

Mrs. Heather Grieshaber

Position: Multi-Age Teacher; Half-Day Preschool Teacher

Mrs. Grieshaber graduated from the University of Illinois in 1999 with a degree in Education.  She taught and coached volleyball in Freeport, IL and South Lyon, MI for several years before staying home with her children.  In 2012 she began serving at TLS as the teacher aide in the Multi-Age classroom, and currently teaches both the Multi-Age and half day Preschool classes.  She and her husband, Chris, have been blessed with three wonderful children.

Psalm 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
